March 2026
At RES, we believe in meaningful and effective engagement, and we aim to engage with the local community and key stakeholders throughout the development of our proposals in order to facilitate constructive consultation.
As part of our pre-application consultation, we hosted a public exhibition in the local area in June 2024. At this event we shared the preliminary designs for Glenhead Solar Farm and attendees were able to provide us with their feedback.
Since then, taking into consideration the site surveys and investigations, and community feedback, we have made some key design changes that we'd like to share.
As a result we held another public exhibition in the local area to share this information and to enable you to provide us with your comments.
RES staff were on hand to answer any questions or queries, and comment forms were available to gather feedback.
To advertise the exhibition and provide more information, we sent out a newsletter to addresses and community groups closest to Glenhead Solar Farm. A copy of this newsletter can be viewed here.
